Changelog

Everything we ship, as we ship it.

Berrytap has been in beta since June 2026. Every release since is below, and the last one shipped 31 Jul 2026.

  1. Payments

Global memberships renew on their own

    • Communities outside Mongolia now bill through Stripe subscriptions, so a membership renews without anyone doing anything.
    • Mongolian checkout opens straight on Bonum's hosted page, which offers QPay and card together — no method picker to get wrong.
    • Memberships and payments priced in USD now display in dollars rather than tögrög.
  2. DashboardPayments

Charts on the dashboard, and a sturdier checkout

    • Member growth and revenue now chart over time on the creator dashboard.
    • A Bonum payment completes even if the member closes their browser mid-checkout.
    • Payments recover when a Stripe customer belongs to a different account or mode instead of failing outright.
  3. Platform

    Support docs moved in-house

    • The full documentation now lives at /docs, with product screenshots, instead of on a third-party service.
    • The closing call-to-action across the marketing site was rebuilt on illustrated artwork.
  4. PlansAccount

A pricing page, and a Free plan that shares

    • A dedicated pricing page with the full plan comparison.
    • Free communities are now 'unlisted' rather than hidden — off the marketplace, but the link works, so you can share one before you pay.
    • Running a community no longer requires two-factor auth to be switched on.
    • Deleting your account is now blocked while you have an outstanding balance.
  5. Plans

    Free, Growth and Scale

    • Three plans with real limits behind them: member caps, stored video, live-streaming minutes and the platform fee all move with the tier.
    • The create-community wizard gained a two-column details step with a searchable country picker, which sets your payout rail.
  6. Payments

Real Bonum checkout, and two payout models

    • Mongolian communities take payment through Bonum's hosted checkout, verified against their sandbox.
    • Payouts split by country at creation: Mongolia settles through Bonum after a hold, everywhere else pays out directly through Stripe Connect.
    • Prices are currency-aware end to end, so a global community stops being read as a Mongolian one.
  7. PaymentsDashboard

    A wallet you can audit

    • Earnings are now backed by an immutable ledger — every entry is written once and never edited, so a balance can always be explained.
    • A 7-day hold before earnings become available to withdraw.
    • Platform admin gained wallets, a revenue page that separates platform revenue from processed volume, and filterable payout queues.
  8. Live

Go live, without a second tool

    • Creator-hosted live rooms: a call room for small groups, a webinar room for large ones.
    • Nobody installs anything and there's no meeting link to send — the room is inside your community.
  9. CommunityCourses

    Points, levels and leaderboards

    • Members earn a point when a contribution lands with someone else, and climb nine levels.
    • Course content can be gated behind a level, so access is earned rather than bought.
    • Level-up notifications, and creator payouts split by payment rail.
  10. MembersAccount

    Leaving, and passwords that behave

    • Members can cancel a paid membership at period end, or leave immediately.
    • Members who signed up with Google can set a password from account settings.
    • Password changes work correctly for accounts with two-factor auth switched on.
  11. CommunityPayments

    Built for a phone

    • Every member-facing surface is now mobile-responsive, including the community preview and About page.
    • QPay's brand mark appears in the checkout picker, in both light and dark mode.
    • Card payments carry a ₮2,000 minimum; anything smaller is routed to QPay.
  12. PlatformCourses

    Security hardening and hosted video

    • The money ledger was locked down, payments verified server-side, and rate limits and security headers added.
    • Two-factor recovery through one-time backup codes.
    • Course video is uploaded straight to Cloudflare from the browser, and paid lessons play on links that expire.
    • Communities gained an About media gallery, and owners can change their URL while under 10 members.
  13. CoursesPlatform

    Paid courses and transactional email

    • Courses can be sold on their own with a public overview page, a free preview and one-time purchase.
    • Lessons can be text or images only, with image uploads in the editor.
    • Invoices, reminders and notifications now send by email.
    • Posts and comments by the owner carry a Creator badge, and members can edit and delete their own comments.
  14. PlansAccount

    Tiered pricing and two-factor auth

    • Platform pricing split into tiers, each with its own platform fee.
    • Time-based two-factor authentication for creators and platform admins.
  15. Platform

    Skool became Berrytap

    • New name, new brand, new landing page, and a display typeface to go with it.
    • Community creation was rebuilt as a focused multi-step wizard.
    • Guests can browse Discover and preview communities without an account.
    • Terms of Service and Privacy Policy published.
  16. CommunityPayments

Events, notifications and two payment rails

    • An events calendar with RSVPs.
    • Payments through QPay or card, with payouts to the creator.
    • In-app notifications, with a bell in the header and a full notifications page.
  17. CoursesPayments

    Selling access

    • Pricing models per community — free, subscription, or one-time.
    • Checkout, invoices and a billing cycle that issues, chases and suspends on its own.
    • Creator onboarding, and settings split into sections.
  18. MembersAccount

    Members, and your own account

    • A member-facing Members directory in every community.
    • Settings split into Profile, Payment history and Account.
    • Change your password, log out everywhere, and delete your account.
  19. Platform

    A faster app

    • Page shells now paint instantly and stream their data, rather than blocking on it.
    • Sign-in state is verified locally instead of costing a round trip on every navigation.
    • The feed, members table and payments table all paginate on the server rather than loading everything.
  20. Community

    A feed worth reading

    • Pinned posts, emoji reactions on posts and comments, and post editing.
    • Polls, with votes hidden until you reveal them.
    • YouTube and link embeds in the composer, and a detail page with a copy link for every post.
    • Infinite scroll, so the feed loads as you read it.
  21. Members

    Public profiles

    • Every member has a public profile with an activity heatmap over the calendar year.
    • A People directory linking members to their profiles.
    • Platform admin arrived: overview, communities and users.
  22. CommunityCoursesDashboard

    The first build

    • A community feed with posts, comments and reactions.
    • A course builder, and a member classroom with a lesson player.
    • Discovery, community previews, and a join flow.
    • The creator dashboard, and the flow to create a community.
